Each one, selected for their specific skillset which is invaluable to the business. Overseeing the company’s operations and day-to-day practices they work closely with teams, ensuring communication remains high and quality supports are delivered efficiently effectively to all participants, every single time.

Ian Bucholz
Chief Executive OfficerIan has spent many years developing small businesses and exploring new opportunities, starting out as a Support Worker a little over 5 years ago. With a wealth of life experience behind him, deficiencies in the services being provided by his then employers were identified. With an entrepreneurial spirit and “we can do this better” attitude, Bass Disability Support Services was then formed, which is now a key competitor in the disability support sector.

Paul Hoye
Chief Financial Officer & Head of Support CoordinationPaul brings a wealth of knowledge to the business. As a former Accountant and Business Manager, Paul entered the disability industry over 10 years ago and has held a number of roles including Intensive Support Team Leader, working with challenging behaviours, Compliance Officer and Support Coordinator. Paul utilises his experience to introduce new and improved services to the business and will assist in driving the longevity and financial success of Bass Disability.

Christine Neil
Head of Human ResourcesWith over 20 years’ experience in the disability Sector, Christine has held a number of roles including Support Worker, Coordinator, Manager of SIL properties and is now Human Resources Manager. Christine enjoys working as part of a Team that empowers participants with disabilities. Mentoring people to achieve their goals, lead enriched lives is rewarding and humbling and is very proud to be part of the team, where all participants, their families and all staff are treated with dignity and respect.

Head of Client Engagement & MarketingHeath has a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years’ experience in business management, strategy, process implementation and marketing. A strong, capable leader that is committed to providing an exceptional level of service. Working closely with all areas of the business, Heath and his team ensures that the needs, requirements and goals of all participants are understood in order to implement relevant solutions, plans and quality supports required

HEAD OF OPERATIONS & SUPPORT DELIVERYWith extensive years of experience working within the disability sector, Deirdre has worked in government and non-government organisations. Committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families through service development, policy work and staff coaching. Leadership and training others are an important part of Deirdre’s vision of equality, advocacy and active participation.
